COLLIDESCOPE celebration is this quarterly queer event that celebrates local talent. Hosted at the wonderful plant led cafe patch, this special evening showcases local queer poetry, drag, spoken word, support groups, performance art and joy hosted and curated by Tom Stock. Each quarter our line up kindly offers their time for free so £5.00 from each ticket can be donated between these community support organisations at the end of year year: Open Road, CENS, RAMA, The OutHouse, CARA and COLLIDESCOPE.
Throughout 2025 the COLLIDESCOPE circle was a monthly gathering of like minded people during a full moon. It was held one the top floor of Curzon Colchester and included lots of spiritual chat, sharing of information and oppertunities to learn from each other in a friendly relaxed manner. This event was free though we asked for a £2 donation. All monies raised through ticketing go to support local non-profit COLLIDESCOPE.
Thank you to everyone who came along to the first COLLIDESCOPE Cabaret at Colchester Fringe! We had three shows featuring 15 local talents that entertained through poetry, drag, song, dance, music and lots of joy and fun. We were proud to platform local LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, disabled and global majority talents across three venues in Colchester including CODA, patch and Headgate Theatre.
